European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde holds a press conference following the bank’s latest monetary policy decision.
The move comes after policymakers at the bank cut their annual growth forecasts as they confirmed consensus expectations of no change in interest rates.
ECB staff now expect economic growth to be 0.6% in 2024, up from the previous forecast of 0.8%. Their inflation forecast for this year was raised to 2.3% from 2.7%.
