The senior team returns to Cochrane after a year at Douglas Elliman. Hottinger said Corcoran is “home” to the team.

As top talent across the country continues to change, Richard Hottinger and his team are among the latest agents to change agency affiliations. Inman learned they were returning to The Cochrane Group, more than a year after switching to Douglas Elliman.

This move for Hottingers could be described as a homecoming of sorts, although so was their move to Douglas Elliman last February. Hottinger and the team worked at Douglas Elliman from 2010 to 2015 before moving to the Corcoran Group in early 2016. The Hottinger team then worked at Corcoran Group until February 2023 when they returned to Douglas Elliman.

Prior to joining Douglas Elliman in 2010, Hottinger briefly worked as an independent broker at Stribling & Associates.

When Hottinger left for Douglas Elliman last February, he cited new growth opportunities and establishing a stronger presence in the Miami market as the main reasons for the move. Recently, Hottinger told Inman that the team found itself missing Corcoran because it was a company where they felt they really honed their skills.

Hottinger has served as sales director on a number of sold-out developments, and the team has toured several of Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group’s prominent buildings on behalf of buyers.
