Why did you get started in real estate?

After a fulfilling 13-year career in banking, I transitioned into real estate. While banking provided stability, I longed for something more impactful that would allow me to make a difference in the community I called home.

Real estate itself is the perfect avenue for growth and community involvement. It provides me with the opportunity to not only help people find their dream homes, but also to make a positive contribution to the communities where I live and work.

Making this transition was very rewarding and allowed me to leverage my financial expertise while pursuing a path that aligned with my passion for community engagement and making a difference.

How did you choose your brokerage firm?

I chose The Agency as my agency because I was immediately attracted to its dynamic culture and forward-thinking leadership. The emphasis on collaboration, integrity and innovation within the agency resonated strongly with me. I admire how they create a supportive environment that encourages agents to excel while maintaining a strong sense of community.

Additionally, the agency’s commitment to staying on the cutting edge of industry trends and technologies is very attractive. Their commitment to providing agents with best-in-class resources and support aligns perfectly with my vision for success in real estate.

Joining The Agency isn’t just about finding an agency; It’s about being part of a dynamic and progressive team that shares my values and aspirations.

What do you wish more agents knew when they were starting out?

I hope every agent knows when they enter the real estate industry that success doesn’t always happen overnight. Reaching your goals in this industry requires persistence, hard work, and dedication.

One thing that is non-negotiable is a commitment to excellent customer service. Building strong relationships with customers and prioritizing their needs is key to long-term success.

Additionally, when entering the industry, it is crucial to have a clear understanding of the niche you wish to serve. Having intention and a plan from the beginning can guide your efforts and set you apart in a competitive market.

So, be patient, provide excellent service, and always have a clear vision of your niche – these are the cornerstones of a successful real estate career.

Tell us about a high point in your brokerage career

Without a doubt, one of the high points of my agency career was the moment I was selected to join The Agency. As someone new to the brokerage journey, being chosen to work with such a prestigious agency is incredibly rewarding.

Even more special is my admiration for the incredible agents around the globe with whom I now have the privilege of interacting. The opportunity to learn from their diverse experiences and perspectives is invaluable.

Additionally, the agency’s strong and smart leaders have always given me unwavering support and guidance as I embark on an exciting new chapter in my real estate journey. Becoming a member of this institution is not only a high point but also a defining moment that sets the stage for future success.

What makes a good leader?

I believe a good leader embodies several key traits. First, effective communication skills are crucial. Leaders should be able to clearly communicate their vision, inspire their teams and facilitate open dialogue.

Second, integrity is non-negotiable. Leaders must uphold high ethical standards and earn the trust and respect of customers and colleagues.

Third, adaptability is critical to the changing real estate landscape. Leaders should be agile, able to respond to challenges and embrace innovation. Finally, empathy and guidance are also important.

A good leader should truly care about the success and well-being of the team, providing guidance, support, and encouragement every step of the way.
