What aspects of working in real estate do you wish more people knew about?
Real estate is a career, not a side hustle, and it requires work. That doesn’t mean it has to be difficult; In fact, it’s very simple. However, maintaining a career and taking care of the people you are privileged to serve does take work and effort.
What are some things you know now that you wish you knew when you started?
Not everyone will love me. It’s impossible to resonate with everyone. However, you can find common ground and learn to respect differences to build fulfilling relationships with those you work with, serve, and serve.
What is your biggest prediction for 2024?
My top prediction for 2024 is that the market won’t change dramatically, but agents will. Agents will make significant changes to their business plans, marketing and financial structures to adapt to market conditions.
What makes a good leader?
A good leader is selfless and has the ability to exert influence without expecting anything in return (this is the hard part). A good leader genuinely cares about their employees and strives to have a positive impact on the people around them and their management. At the end of the day, a good leader truly cares.
What’s the one thing you wish every agent knew?
This too shall pass. I’ve been in this industry enough to know that no matter what an agent goes through in their career, whether it’s market driven, personal or anything out of their control, it’s not going to last forever, and frankly, things It will pass quickly. .
So are the good times. Always be prepared and think ahead. Real estate is like any financial industry – it’s very volatile. Until it’s no longer good. So buckle up and enjoy the ride. There is no better career than real estate!
