How did you get started in real estate?
I was a stay at home mom and needed to start supporting my girls. My dad asked me if I had the stamina to get into real estate and now I can say I do!
I love that real estate has no limitations. Your actions directly impact your business results. Dad issues challenged me and pushed me to work hard. Twenty years later, I am still striving to get better through real estate coaching and appointments.
How did you choose your brokerage firm?
I chose to be a partner with Arizona Territory Real Estate Executive because of the great, close family environment and educational opportunities we have. Realty Executive agents are experienced, seasoned agents with a wealth of knowledge and support. I can have my own office in Tubac – My specialty is the I-19 corridor from Sahuarita to Nogales, AZ.
Tell us about a high point in your brokerage career
The highlight of my career was when my daughter Haley joined my team in 2020. I love working with her every day. She is a Montessori teacher in the Phoenix area and holds a master’s degree in Montessori education. When COVID-19 hit and schools moved online, she moved back to Tubac and realized how much she enjoyed being back home and in the real estate industry.
What is your most important piece of advice for a newly licensed broker?
Continue studying. Find mentors in all aspects of life. I would not be where I am today without the guidance of Theresa Barnabei and Buffini and Company: Real Estate Coaching and Training.
What makes a good leader?
Before becoming a mom, I was a second grade teacher. I enjoy helping other agents, especially with negotiations.
