The latest addition to MoxiWorks’ network of real estate technology partners, MoxiCloud, is a software company designed to reduce the time and stress required to close a home sale, according to an April 4 press release shared with Inman.
Earnnest’s solution began as a payment processing and oversight system for a range of transactions inherent in traditional settlement. In February this year, it launched “Earnnest Escrow Services” to provide an additional technical way to control the process, which often provides the opportunity for transactions to fall into disarray.
Earnnest partners with alternative brokerage brand Side to beta test new product launch, now with full benefits from the company Available to MoxiWorks users‘ Marketing, sales and business management software.
MoxiCloud is built around companies that can help it fill gaps and enhance the software offerings it offers to customers—solving business challenges that MoxiWorks would not have invested significant resources in solving.
Proptech partner networks of brokerages, MLSs, and big tech companies are common across the industry, but most are marketing-minded, meaning the goal is primarily to provide exposure for each player. MoxiCloud is heavily based on productivity, selecting companies based on demand.
“It was clear from the beginning that Earnnest would be a valuable addition to the MoxiCloud partner program,” Krista Hannahs, senior director of strategic partnerships at MoxiWorks, said in a press release. “The care they take in building their product and their understanding of the needs of this industry is outstanding. It’s top notch.”
Users can access Earnnest’s payment request workflow from within MoxiWorks, helping users avoid extra logins or clumsy software transitions that could compromise the purpose of ensuring fast and secure payments during the most critical period of a real estate transaction.
Earnnest was reviewed by Inman in 2019 for providing a fresh, modern approach to the necessary but long-unchanged traditional real estate process of securing funds sent by buyers.
Chris Basinger, Earnnest’s senior vice president of growth, said in a statement that the partnership “exemplifies our commitment to providing real estate professionals with an unparalleled, secure and streamlined approach to earnest money transactions.”
“We are setting a new benchmark for simple, efficient transactions with an unwavering focus on convenience,” Basinger said.
MoxiCloud has 150 members, including transaction managers Dotloop and DocuSign, image enhancement company BoxBrownie and data-driven leadership assessment company Sisu, including Google. Customized business application builder HomeStack will be added in early 2024.
MoxiWorks also released MoxiBalance this year, an improved office business management solution derived from its 2021 acquisition of Reeazily.
