Beverly Hills celebrity agent Josh Flagg has now hung up his hat and license with Compass, the agency announced Tuesday.

Flagg, the longest-running cast member on Bravo’s reality show Million Dollar Listing LA, has been working with Douglas Elliman since 2021 and will later work with Compass’ Beverly Hills office .

“I’m excited to begin this next chapter with Compass,” Flagg said in a statement. “While I am grateful for the journey thus far, especially my former colleagues who are like family, I am finally ready to embark on my next adventure and I look forward to the great things we will accomplish together.”

Flagg has worked in the luxury real estate sector in Los Angeles for over a decade, specializing in high-end residential real estate sales. He has made more than $3 billion in deals over the years, with recent deals including the sale of Rihanna’s Beverly Hills home for $10.3 million and a $40 million deal to StubHub founder Eric Beck. Flagg broke several real estate records in the Flats neighborhood of Beverly Hills: the most expensive home ever sold, the largest parcel of land, and the highest land price ever. He is consistently ranked as one of the top agents in the country and a top agent in the highly competitive Los Angeles luxury market.

Flagg’s other high-profile clients include the Getty family, Bloomingdale’s family, late actor Matthew Perry, Tinder co-founder Justin Martin and the DeBartolos family, former owners of the San Francisco 49ers.

Flagg will bring $400 million worth of existing listings to Compass, including 9,463 Sunset Blvd., valued at $28.9 million, and 2 Oak Knoll Terr., valued at $32 million. — the most expensive home in Pasadena — and 1231 Stone Canyon Rd., Judy Garland’s $11,495,000 home in Bel Air.

In 2023, Flagg co-founded Estate Media, a real estate media platform specializing in personalized educational content for agents.

Compass is headquartered in New York City and has more than 1,400 agents in the Los Angeles market. The company’s revenue will slip from $6 billion in 2022 to $4.9 billion in 2023, but it still achieved 7.7% agent growth in the fourth quarter despite an overall contraction in agent numbers across the industry.
