The area is a destination for outdoor enthusiasts, with Schweitzer Mountain Ski Resort and Lake Pend Oreille both located in Sandpoint. A news release noted that over the past five years, interest in the town has surged from out-of-state buyers from Texas, Colorado and Florida because of its natural beauty, arts scene, low taxes and Resort towns in Montana and Colorado are relatively affordable relative to other areas.
“With offices in five of Montana’s top ski markets, our team knows how to market luxury homes in mountain resort communities, so expanding into northern Idaho is a great fit for us,” said Ryon Brewer, president of PureWest Christie’s International Real Estate. It was a natural choice,” he said in a statement. “We look forward to working with Paul and (his wife) Julie to bring our focus on luxury and our strong regional, national and international network to Sandpoint.”

They decided to move to the town permanently with their children in 2019 and started working at a small real estate company in the area. They founded 48th Parallel Realty in 2022 and recently partnered with PureWest Christie’s International Real Estate to enhance their brand and services as Sandpoint’s luxury market continues to grow.
“PureWest Christie’s International Real Estate is unlike any other company in this market, with best-in-class marketing and technology solutions that sets the standard for the entire industry,” Paul Reizen said in a statement. “Sandypoint is a market with incredible lakefront or mountain living opportunities, surrounded by stunning natural beauty. As buyers continue to discover our beautiful area, I am excited to partner with Ryon and his Working as a team to bring a new level of service to northern Idaho.”
Reizen added that he is “very impressed” with the company’s pl@tform technology so far.
