Danilo Tavares, a leading broker in the South Florida luxury market, has parted ways with Douglas Elliman to join The Corcoran Group, according to Inman.
Tavares is now part of Corcoran’s Surfside office, led by Senior Managing Director Lily Zanardi.

The nine-year agent has become a well-respected industry player during a career that most recently ended 2023 with $90 million in sales.

Some of Tavares’ most notable deals include 37 Indian Creek, home to the long-running Univisión game show giants saturday host Don Francisco and 12 Indian Creek, which was acquired by Jeff Bezos last year for $79 million (jointly listed with Elliman’s Dina Goldentayer ). He is also currently representing former NBA player Leandro Barbosa in the sale of his property in the gated community of Bella Collina in Orlando.

Tavares moved to Miami from Brazil in 2011 and began his career as a luxury concierge. The experience helped him gain service, interpersonal and time management skills. Prior to working with Douglas Elliman, he was an agent at Compass.
