Multiple Listing Service Member Midwest Real Estate Data Inman learned that MRED will have enhanced collaboration capabilities with customers and listings in a mobile environment thanks to a partnership with business app Zenlist.
The agreement will allow Zenlist to access MRED’s vast real estate database, through which agents can market and find homes, quickly interact with aspiring buyers and clients, and demonstrate a more modern, consumer-first approach to business . Agents in more than 7,000 offices use the MLS to support the majority of consumers in the collective region in accessing available properties.
It will be fully rolled out in the spring, joining ConnectMLS and Paragon Connect as partner real estate data solutions, according to a press release.
“One of our biggest subscriber requests has been to provide a better mobile app experience for the MLS,” MRED President and CEO Rebecca Jensen said in a statement. “Partnering with Zenlist provides an alternative system within the native app experience. , meeting the needs of our subscribers where they work most.”
In a blog post about the partnership, MRED said Zenlist “can now be used as an alternative way to search the MLS.”
Zenlist was the subject of the 2022 Inman Technology Review, receiving four stars for its ability to engage homebuyers and inspire communication within the listing, better allowing agents to create a narrative around the property and the services it offers.
“The dashboard gives agents access to a timeline of customer activity, such as what attributes they viewed, shared, saved and when,” the review states. “Each listing is very detailed and clearly presented in a modern user interface with no frills or visual frills. This is a very search-centric app.
“The app is designed to engage and facilitate communication at multiple stages of a search, which deepens relationships and keeps more data in one place. Search information, preferences and travel data are not distributed across inboxes and different CRMs .”
Several listing services continue to promote real estate technology collaboration to improve the way their members and their clients access and utilize market data. It also allows MLS to enhance technology offerings without placing an undue burden on its members’ checking accounts or having to hire and coach software developers to create in-house products.
In turn, these partnerships provide proptech companies with opportunities to scale, market and advance their products by creating faster and more direct feedback loops on topics such as adoption habits and user behavior, among other aspects of product advancement. driving factors.
